The location is just so beautiful and peaceful! Just what you need to relax and get away from the craziness of life for a few hours to a few days! My friend and I checked out all of the various pools - from the cooler swimming pool temp to the hottest one at the original bath house. We had a late lunch at the restaurant in the lodge. From the outdoor patio seating, the view of the mountain was stunning and the food was so scrumptious! We will definitely be back for another round of relaxation!

Pools and hot tubs are great. A variety of options and temperature to choose. Kids really love the water slides. Spacious. Friendly staff. However, the showers in Historic Bath House are a bit hard to use. You have to keep pressing the button for water to come and it shoots out so strong that can hurt your body. And a lot of concrete steps leading down to the Historic Bath House need some repairs, as they're broken off quite a bit. Really nice if you book a cabin since it includes pass to the pool, free towels, and free locker rental. Cabins are good that they also have towels (with some hotel amenities like shower gel, shampoo conditioner) and a kitchen, clean and neat but a bit under-equipped (no hand soap anywhere, not enough trash bags, no salt and sugar). Cabin kitchen sink is a bit small. I guess they expect you to spend most of the time in the pools, not cooking or eating anything in the cabins. They're pretty lenient in terms of how many people you put in a cabin. Other than those, everything else is great. Been here multiple times and will come back. Oh, even have 2 electric card charging stations near the cabins where we stayed.

We had a great time at Mount Princeton! Every staff member was delightful, helpful, and took care of us. The creek side pools were really nice for a natural feel, and the upper Japanese style pools were nice for the views! Great geothermal heat from this hot spring. The on-site juice bar and steak house were delicious and made it convenient to not have to leave the resort for anything. It wasn’t too crowded, and hopefully the resort keeps a monitor on the number of guests admitted to provide this relaxing environment. We can’t wait to come back.

We were hoping to enjoy a nice day at the spa/hot springs, worry free. Instead, we had nearly all of our most valuable belongings STOLEN out of the lockers in the upscale, adults area - engagement ring, wedding ring, class ring, other jewelry, cash. Several other guests had cash stolen or lockers opened as well, and we've been told by authorities and employees that these break-ins have happened before. The issues have not been fixed and now we are suffering for it. I hope to spare the rest of you. After paying $300 for services I would expect the lockers to work. Unfortunately, after being robbed, we tried four different lockers to make sure it wasn't just ours that had the issue, and all of them were defective. The resort has been extremely unhelpful in talking with us (rarely responding to calls/emails), nor have they made us feel like they are doing anything to locate the missing items, covering the cost of the losses or preventing it from happening in the future. Not to mention the fact that we lost substantial sentimental value with each of these pieces. Now, they aren't responding to our calls or emails as we try to get paperwork sorted with insurance. I will never visit this place again. I've been to several other spas where I can actually relax for far cheaper. Spare yourselves the trouble and just don't do it.

Questions & Answers

can I just do hot springs?

Yes. That's what the primary entrance fee gets you is admission to the various tubs & pools. You can also get access to the "spa" side for an extra $10. The spa side has a premium feel to it and is absolutely worth the extra $10. It's got a super nice clubhouse & locker room (superior to the other locker room), a snack bar that serves a variety of alcohol and snacks, and several pools & tubs. Best of all is it's 18+ only so no dealing with kids of it's not your thing. Edit - I'm amending this as is it seems to be a popular answer; BE WARNED it's my understanding that during the pandemic the spa side is ONLY open to guests of the resort ie if you're actually in a room on premises there. From what I'm told day trippers will only be allowed on the regular side of things. Kind of unfortunate in my eyes.

On the Spa side of the resort there are 3 Cascading pools, that hold 6 people each. Each pool is fed by the one before it. The first pool is 105+, the 2nd about 10 degrees less, and the 3rd. 10 less than the previous. One of these is usually perfect depending on how long you want to soak and your heat preference.
