We came in for dinner this evening and had an amazing time! Our waiter Don was so tentative and fun. He had a little competition with my brothers and indulged in their love of spicy food. The food was also delicious and I would highly recommend the chicken Taquitos! Don and the owner were wonderful and made our dining experience fantastic. Thank you!

Dining at Agave Family Mexican Restaurant was a highlight of our trip to Gunnison. We had the pleasure of having Don as our server. He went above and beyond by not only being attentive, but actively talking and bantering with us. This is a wonderful family business that anyone staying or traveling through Gunnison should stop to enjoy.

The food was good. Chili relleno was on par and something to order again. The super burrito was not as super (large) as I thought it would be. It almost looked like an enchilada. I also ordered it with shredded beef but it came out with ground beef. Not worth the hastle of sending it back. The fresh lime margaritas IMO are not worth the $14.50. Next time I will just get the house regular.

Best place in town! Great service a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I highly recommend this place Margaritas are a bit pricey but they’re amazing! We also got free shots and those shots don’t taste cheap if anything it’s one of the best tequila I’ve ever had I recommend this place 100%
