OMG, all I can say is WOW! This vacation at Sierra Meadows Ranch was one of my best. I feel so fortunate to have booked reservations at the best lodging in town. This was exactly what I was looking for - a lovely tiny home with wood paneling, so I felt like I was in a cabin (Lonsdale), unobstructed gorgeous views of the mountain range, hiking trails within walking distance of cabin, dog-friendly (he watched the critters for hours), great host, fantastic restaurant on site, etc. I could go on for a while! Oh, did I mention the horses or the deer roaming the property? It was fantastic and I was sad to leave after 3 nights/4 days - I could easily stay for a much longer time. Thank you Mark, for a most excellent stay. I'm already trying to figure out when I can return!! -Christi

The setting is just one beautiful view after another! We could walk to town in just a few minutes, and there was plenty of printed information and maps about activities in the area. Plenty of parking. It was very quiet. We stayed in the Sherwin Cabin with our sweet Golden Retriever. Very comfortable, sunny, and quiet. Our view from the main living/dining area was Mammoth Mountain in all its loveliness. The website advertises outdoor furniture and a private fire pit. We had a large front porch, but no furniture and no fire pit (maybe fire danger is too high to risk using fire pits 👍🏻). The kitchen has all the basics. Maybe more than just one dish towel and something to put under the countertop dish drainer would be reasonable additions. We improvised with a bathroom hand towel. Our front door was fussy and would blow open occasionally which caused a bit of alarm since our Golden was dying to get out and catch one of the chipmunks that dart around outside 🤣. There weren’t any containers for recycling plastic, glass, paper, etc. Maybe Mammoth Lakes doesn’t encourage recycling?? It felt strange to stuff recyclables into the waste baskets. We wish we could have enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on site. The menu looked AMAZING, and it drew lots of customers from town. We enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend Sierra Meadows Ranch to others. (Wish I had seen the offer for Pets Stay For Free when I made our reservation. Would recommend that others check out the specials listed on the website BEFORE booking. 😊)

We had a fantastic stay in the Minaret Cabin at Sierra Meadows! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Its on a beautiful ranch surrounded by open space with great views of the mountains, but also in a fantastic location very close to the town, supermarket, restaurants, etc. It was a great situation for our puppy as well. We also enjoyed a great meal at the on-site CubaRican restaurant. The communication with the host was fantastic and he was even nice enough to lend us his VIP parking pass for the slopes for a couple of days. Would highly recommend and would love to come back and stay again sometime! This was much better than the standard condominium stays.
