Stayed in Cabin #1—overall, had a pretty pleasant experience! We arrived on a Friday afternoon and walked into the lounge, were greeted by an employee who checked us in, gave us our keys, and also a heads up that the showers and restrooms attached to the main building were going to be more pleasant to use than the old outhouse by the cabins. (This was very true! The outhouse was pretty annoying to use, especially since other campers seemed to completely ignore the huge signs saying to keep the toilet lid closed, making it way stinkier than it needed to be.) The cabin itself had a parking spot, a nice screened in area, and ample sleeping spaces. It had a musky odor, but opening both windows overnight had a nice, cooling cross-breeze. We appreciated the mini-fridge and tons of hooks to hang our things! The closeness to the bar was nice, being able to grab a late night dinner was pretty neat. Overall, We really appreciated the pet-friendly accommodations, which ended up being the best reason to stay here. Otherwise, we might stick to the more rustic state campgrounds since that's usually all that we need.

rented cabin #1- rented for two nights, and left after first night. Cabin was musty, and moss growing on the cedar shake roof for the last 20 years, inside siding was showing where the roof leaked and moldy. Wife was sneezing after the first 10 minutes. Bring your own foam padding for the mattresses if you want a comfortable night sleep, otherwise you're on the springs! Overgrown bushes will get in your way as you try to enter the cabin and bring some duct tape to tape the screen to the little porch so the mosquitos, flies, and every other bug cant get in through the ripped screen. Outhouses, well, let's just say you're better off walking to the "lodge" to use the bathroom, if you want to wash your hands with any kind of soap/hand sanitizer, or something. There is no hand sanitizer in the outhouse. Overpriced! If you want a decent experience I hope you have our own tent/or trailer, skip the cabins!!

We normally camp on public land, but Spring thawing left our usual roads inaccessible. We called Wildhurst and Spoke to Nick who told us he would look to see if he had any sites that weren’t too wet. Sure enough he called us back 15 minutes later with a spot! When we got in, Jason got us all set up. The sites are private and beautiful. Lots of wildlife, but only the kind you welcome. Other campers were friendly (if you’re reading this, thanks for jumping our car) and bathrooms/showers were sparkling (by camp standards). All in all, our Spring thawing misfortune turned into something of a treat being able to camp at Wildhurst. Highly recommend.

This is a sweet spot to ride to on atv or snowmobiles. Nice little bar. Camp ground also keeps spots plowed out for winter camping with the sleds.

The new owners took over the beginning of August I was told when I stayed. I don't know about the website being out of date. They are very nice if you have a question I would just give them a call.
