Access Hospice and specifically our nurse, Misty Grider, has helped us beyond what words can express. We had a pain crisis, and she stayed with us for several hours for 3 days until she got it under control. No one has ever helped us like she has done. Her experience as a nurse, her patience, and her obvious compassion for the patient is nothing less than a miracle for us. She is the answer to our many prayers. I would also add that the bath aide provided by Access Hospice, Sally, has been such a help, and she is perfectly suited for compassionate care. Thank you Access Hospice.

Generally, Medicare and other insurance carriers cover Hospice at 100% This includes every aspect of the patients care related to their hospice diagnosis. We provide on site care, whether at home or a facility; nursing care to control symptoms and address pain management needs; spiritual and emotional support from a dedicated chaplain and social worker; coordination of outside services including medical equipment and medications, and so much more. We also offer support to the family not only during the end of life process, but for up to a year after the passing of their loved one.
