We were looking to match the brick on our current home for an upcoming project. We stopped by the Carmel Indiana Brick location and spoke with David who was tremendously helpful in explaining what brick we have on our home now and what we would need in order to get a close match. Apparently our home was build with used brick, likely from Chicago in the 80's. (Who knew) He ordered us a few samples to get the match process started and we hope to make selections next week. Couldn't be happier with how simple David made this process.

I was driving north bound on highway 31 in Carmel when a tractor truck style vehicle hauling a trailer with bricks and one of those piggy back forklift delivery system vehicles on the very back came up behind me. I was in the slow, far right lane driving 5 miles per hour above the speed limit. I noticed that as I maintained speed the truck got within what appeared to be a couple feet of my rear bumper. As I was not breaking any traffic laws I maintained my speed. I took the Old Meridian Street exit and as the truck passed I looked over and to my surprise the driver of the truck was waiving his middle finger in my direction. I wanted to pass this along to whom it may concern. The truck was following me at an unsafe distance in the case of emergency braking I would have collided with the truck damaging the vehicle I am driving and potentially sustaining injuries. Might be wise to advise this driver to practice safe driving techniques and to utilize a passing lane when traffic does not seem to be meeting his desired speed.
