Beautiful winery. Wine flights, wine tasting, beer, available (all made by Schram's). Wide selection of red, rosé, and white wines. Frozen wine is exceptional on a hot day. View is gorgeous from both the indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of both open and shaded seating areas outside. Some food available, including giant soft pretzels. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable on their wine selection.

Schram is pretty good winemaker as winemakers go in the region; we are not in a prime vineyard area hence the higher cost for somewhat less quality wine. Guessing anyone reading this knows that anyway - so this is not comparing to Napa or Italy and the wines are good. The beer, also good - B+ sort of brewery (comparing to other MN breweries). We had food-truck food, which was very good tacos - the Schram food looked pretty good as well and a nice variety - also like their system. - The outdoor space is quite nice and large, plenty of both shaded and open areas (you can reserve a nice gazebo area for a group of about 20+). Indoor space is nicely done as well, although the day we were there there was one guy playing music and he had it amped as if it was a full on concert at First Avenue or Turf Club or something like that - not an afternoon music gig at a winery. This is part of the reason I am at about 4.4 stars instead of about 4.6 stars and therefore a 4 versus a 5 star rating. I will revisit next time, try their food, and, get a photo!

My husband’s and my favorite place! Has either beer or wine selections and we haven’t had a bad one yet! We love the atmosphere here and the staff is so friendly! It’s perfect in the summer to sit in the sun with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of summer. Highly recommend!!!

We absolutely love the atmosphere here! It's so welcoming and laid-back. Red Marquette wine is delicious and the Raspberry Bumbley is a brunch-worthy delight instead of mimosas! 😋 Mike Bustin gave a great performance. Love this place! 🥰Did I mention the dinner-plate sized pretzel? Get it! 🤣

What’s the closest place to stay? Hotel or vrbo

Alicia Guss | Oct 7, 2020
Kelly Gaffke | Oct 8, 2020

I'm not entirely sure. I don't know Waconia too well but if I recall there is a hotel not too far from there. There is also 2 other vineyards all within 10 minutes of each other so make a day of it and hit up all 3!

Is the winery dog friendly?

Which one is slightly carbonated. Bumbley Raseberry or the Bumbley Blue Blue?

Theresa Dickinson | May 6, 2018

They are both carbonated honey wines. The blueberry is drier.
