Excellent museum full of interesting artifacts and history! Great docent led tours that are very interesting and informative. Check the hours, and the space is not entirely wheelchair accessible - but call them and they can tell you how to navigate it all! You'll need about an hour - well worth a stop!

Went there during the 2 hours they are supposed to be open and no one there but other disappointed visitors

It didn't exist. Went Sunday at 1:00 and waited 20 minutes for someone to show up. No one ever did. No sign on door or anything. Not impressed.

We arrived when it said it would be open, yet—as many other Google reviews have said—it was not open.

Be aware it is open on weekends 1pm to 3pm for tours. The Lagonda chapter of the DAR is responsible for the upkeep and touring of this historic landmark. I wholly encourage seeing this museum, as it is rich in Springfield and Ohio history and offers many interesting displays and points of information.

I'm pretty sure it's a $10 donation. They are all volunteers and have limited hours. Check the website.
