I have been working with one of the attorneys (Sam adams) at IDR for 6-8 months now on a disability discrimination claim agianst my landlord. It's a case that involves my 83 yr old mother whom has alztymers and dementia. She was denied a home modification from our landlord out of retaliation over a refrigerator that the landlord had to replace. This is a home modification that was to be completely paid for through the aged and disabled waiver. There's no denying what happened and after all this time he tells me today that my only option is to go forward with the bath mod because she hired a lawyer and after a year shes not denying anymore. With less than a year left on our lease and landlord won't renew how is this even a option!? This is a one time opportunity for my mother who is in need of this. I just can't believe he told me that this isn't a case worth fighting for! I asked him if this isn't what is? He refused to answer me. They are suppose to be here for us (the disabled)he said they don't have the resources or man power! Then acted like he could care less! What is my mother whom I care for suppose to do now?

Is this the SAME "joke of an agenda" place that Was on Keystone Avenue, room #222?!...after finding about about this "place" accidentally AFTER I had left Valley Vista Hospital which crimes were done against my person, I read over their information carefully, there in black & white, it states that they have advocacy & legal help...I read & wrote down names of staff...attorneys included...went into detail about the abuse committed against me there...including my phone #...their site promised a callback within days!...Alas, that didn't happen!...the gentleman who posted that not not only do they not help, they share it with the "humans" who abused you, the complaint, then ignore you completely! They have a different agenda than their mission statement!...that's for sure!

I’m very disappointed on how they deduct business. Mrs. Nickelson is the worst. I faxed over information and the school did as well, she claimed she never received anything from neither one of us. I call BS, now I have to start all over again. Thanks
