I recommend to buy the muffler online and then go there to get it installed. Its much cheaper that way. They shouldn't charge more than 50 bucks just to swap out the muffler... if they start telling you, you need this and that.. ask them you want to see. Sometimes shops just want to sell you anything

They do replace breaks, as of cost it depends on what type of breaks you have (disk, drum or a comb of both) what type of vehicle you have and how big your oem breaks are. Call them and they will help you out.

Depends on the length. They fixed one for me for about 20 bucks. If they give you a price, feel free to counter offer. Either way they do great work. The quick fix they did it lasted 2 years.
