I always without fail get a weird vibe from the front desk people, not just this location but all of them around the country -- it never fails. Overly energetically "friendly" or just otherwise "off" somehow. I'm not sure what is going on culturally within the OTF company confines but there is def something in the water. I think they place too much emphasis on forging relationships with their customers. Like dang guys, I just wanna get a workout, not looking for new pals. Otherwise, just find the instructors that float your boat -- some of their motivation styles are good, some bad, it's all subjective. Pricey and just as hard to cancel as any other gym membership.

All the trainers are super welcoming and genuinely want you to achieve your goals. I was nervous at first, and now Orange Theory is the thing I look forward to each week. If you’re nervous about joining, take the plunge. I dropped 35 pounds roughly 3 months after joining in 2019 with a healthier nutrition outlook in addition to two classes a week. I still continue to attend two classes 3 years later 🏃🏻‍♂️

I genuinely have never had a worst customer service experience and this is the first time I am writing a review. I signed up for OTF after going to many gyms all over Chicago and joined due to the location (I was warned not to go here... I should have listened). I work in another time zone and things occasionally come up with work. I called at 9am this morning (09/22) to ask if I could move my 4:30pm class to the 12:05pm class (both were not full) because I was scheduled in a meeting. They did allow me to do this a few weeks ago (which I totally appreciated). I understand business and policies but I cannot believe the way I was spoken to. The 'manager' starts off the conversation with a rude and accusatory tone and says "we have doctors and nurses who are on call and able to follow the rules so I am not sure why you aren't able to". A simple, "sorry, I can't do anything to help you- this is our policy" would have sufficed. I can't believe someone in a managerial position would handle a situation with such a lack of... tact. The way she spoke to me was completely unnecessary, unprofessional and I cancelled my membership immediately. I feel so uncomfortable ever stepping foot in that studio again and I hope she doesn't speak to other people the way she spoke to me.

Love OrangeTheory. I always get a better workout in a group, and I love having a coach to give me a structured workout and motivation.
