Went looking for clear glass dishes for a craft project. Left with oodles of them. Great service and they offer a military discount.

Very friendly people very good experience. They have a lot there a lot more than I expected. They're here for people that need help and you got to like that. Also got a FREE washer and dryer today so I could not be more thankful. 🙏

Yes. 10AM - 4PM.
If they are unable to take clothes, there's always Goodwill (although I think St Vincent dePaul is a much better organization in general).
St Vinnies always takes donations you pull in the back and drop it off and they will even unload your car for you you, just have to be there half an hour before they close.
They require masks and use social distancing through out the store and have hand sanitizer available.
I have never seen washing machines at the store
Not really, more recent times
Yes
Yes, we do! Thank you for asking (and apologies if this answer comes too late, but hopefully will help in the future)!
We accept all items on our website here: https://svdptacoma.org/donate/donate-thrift-stores/ Occasionally, we might be full of a certain type of item. In those cases, we'll be sure to update our Facebook page to let everyone know: https://www.facebook.com/www.svdptacoma.org
Well I bought 2 last week to refinish so I'm going to say yes. They dont have a big selection
Yes they do take snowboards and bicycles
Thank you for asking! Yes, we are open for doantions. Our Facebook page will be updated with the most recent developments regarding donations; if you don't see a post saying otherwise, we're open! :) https://www.facebook.com/www.svdptacoma.org
Nope. Not one. No worries, though!! "Secondhand Affordables" located off 138th and Pacific Avenue is where you should go for all your budget shopping needs. Shoes, clothes, tools, tires, furniture, Cosmetics, and more!! Good luck to you Katherine!! **Update** St Vincent de Paul on 99th and Canyon is now open. I believe it's the only one open in tacoma.
You need to call 211 to start and if you need to just come in the store and someone can direct you in the right direction
I think they will take just about anything.
No, you have to drop them off
I have found both items at St Vincents
Sometimes they have carpet.... sadly but it usually is not in good condition
Hi Julia, Please call our help line at 253.426.1710 and leave a message if you don't get through to someone.
I'm sorry for your circumstances, but St. Vincent's at this location is a retail thrift store. You would probably have a better response of help by calling someone who can help get you care and get you to a food bank or something.
I believe they will help pay the last 75
As far as I know they do. I would say be there before 3:30 p.m. as the yard close at 4 as i recall winter hours. but you can call them.
I don't. But St Vincent probably does. As long as it's clean and in good condition.
Yes
On anything furniture wise the guideline is no rips, tears and stains. On certain furniture items there is also a year limit for example 10 years or newer 😊😊 the best way to see if they can accept the item is to go in and talk to someone in the yard, bring some pictures if it's too much to transport!
No, you can drive or walk your donations to the donation center located in their back yard area. Donations are closed on Wednesdays.
They will always accept applications! For employment a background check and clean UA must be done prior to hiring 😊
I work here 😊 we actually change the colors on Wednesdays but every day there are different specials!
Hi April! A good person to talk to about this would be Debbie or Tracie. You can call and get that information so quick 😊
Great ones come and go with great deals as well, its just finding someone who knows what they're doing as far as staff, they keep laying off the knowledgeable ones, Good luck ☀
