I didn't actually stay here but I was passing through falls city and was told to check out the hotel. The woman at the front desk was nice enough to give me a tour of the hotel and show me what the rooms look like. Most of the rooms are renovated or in the process of being renovated, with the addition of a bar downstairs and a soon to be restaurant. I'd give this hotel 5 stars for the friendliness alone.

Old hotel in process of renovation, limited rooms available. Room was nice but high room rate considering the city of Falls City, NE location. All the businesses that we visited were a bit 'scary' due to employees and clientele. City seemed stuck in somewhere other than the present. Hotel was just too expensive, no reason to return to Falls City.

Very unique hotel. The rooms are decorated with antique reproductions. Lots of original woodwork has been restored and used. The staff if helpful directing to points of interest in the area. The only reason for 4 stars is the towels were not replaced, had I known I would have hung them up to dry. Would stay here again.

Nice and cozy with an antique room. Loved the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the lounge downstairs was the best. Our bartender was very lovely. We were visiting for a friend's funeral and couldn't believe we found this gem hidden in the middle of this small town. Front desk was very helpful.
