I came here for brunch with a few friends. The atmosphere is very unpretentious: a modestly decorated, no-frills dining area, bro-country pumping through the speakers, and water in tiny plastic cups that look like something you’d serve pudding to a 7-year-old in. All of this is fine if the pricing matches the energy, but it didn’t. Bathrooms had sandpapery 1 ply and a thick layer of dust on some of the fixtures. I can see that the $3.50 you pay additionally for three slices of pork roll on a bagel you already paid $9 or 10 for isn’t invested into ambiance or regular cleaning services. The pricing represented on the menu seems deceptive by design, and so it isn’t until you get the bill that you see how obscenely overpriced the food is. If you forced a bot to watch thousands of hours of footage of bland table service from complacent and unenthusiastic waitstaff, then had it distill everything it learned into a simulated waitress of its own creation, you might get something a bit like Mel. It has been a very long time since I’ve encountered a person in the service industry who does so little to, at bare minimum, engage with their customer or at least try to give off the impression that they care at least a little bit what you have to say, even when it’s about a dietary restriction due to an auto-immune disease that will literally damage your internal organs if you aren’t careful. All in all, I left feeling robbed—like I’d gotten a lesser experience than I’ve had at some local diners for about twice the price. At least the diner I go to has a clean bathroom. Looking at the reviews, it’s disappointing to see that the owner is more interested in doubling down on the aspects of their business that some folks are giving them honest feedback about than actually accepting that some things could be made better even if it is kind of a tough pill to swallow.

I love this place! I'm a local, so I come here once a week. The wait staff are very nice and attentive. The food is always delicious. They do breakfast and lunch. (Breakfast is my favorite)

It’s not our practice to serve cold eggs and I’m very sorry that happened to you.
They are no longer open for dinner, just breakfast/ lunch. If you pass by late, (after 3) they will be closed.

We have few vegan items on the menu but our cook staff can modify some of our vegetarian options per your needs.
They're usually very good with fixing your order and making sure you're happy if something is wrong
