Roof top was amazing. Tried the Skydeck, basically a frozen blue whale, and was delicious. Definitely recommend. Has a vacation vibe although you're overlooking Canandaigua. Friendly staff. Stop by the roof top when you have a chance.

We drove 35 minutes to dine at Nick's Chophouse specifically to dine on the roof and enjoy the view of Canandaigua. We made our reservation for a table on the roof. Due to the cool, damp weather management decided not to open the rooftop area. In my mind they should have called us in advance to let us know they were only serving meals inside on the ground floor. But, they did not. Upon our arrival we were told the rooftop was closed. We asked if we could just go up and see the view. We we told by the greeter that she'd ask management. We had a drink at the bar before being seated at our table. We asked our server to see if we could see the view from the roof. She said she'd check with management. Neither the greeter nor the server ever told us what management had decided. Downstairs bar and dining area are rustic ... not what we expected. Service was OK. Food was good. Prices a little high. I doubt if we'd go back again.

An absolute joke of a restaurant, not sure how this place is even open anymore honestly. Personally I think you’d be better of going somewhere that has robotic servers, you know the AI carts? I’m sure they’d be much more experienced in food service than the “servers” here… if that’s what you can even call them. Last time I checked servers actually serve though, do their jobs to buss, and make your experience worthwhile. Oh and if you wanted to come here for the food… I’m so sorry but all the capable cooks seem to have vanished. Save yourself from this overpriced waste of space and make a meal yourself at home. Or go to a chain steakhouse, or even McDonald’s. At least there you would be getting what you’ve paid for! P.S. go to Yelp for more reviews, the owners can’t remove them from there like they can here.
