I don’t know why this place owns a phone because they don’t answer it. My friend uses this psychiatrist and is in a dark place and the psychiatrist has yet to successfully refill the prescription. The pharmacist can’t get a hold of them either to communicate the issue. This place is useless and once we’re through this I’ll be encouraging my friend to find a new doctor.

I have never written a negative Google review for a business before, until now. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of care and attention the company pays towards patients, especially in regards to scheduled appointments and medication refills. Almost every appointment I had scheduled with the provider was either missed, hours delayed or had to be rescheduled for an entirely different day, because of them, not me. The last instance of this occurrence was the last time I would ever be a patient. My appointment was scheduled for a Thursday at 11:30am. I received no call or link to join the Telehealth appointment (once again, as this has happened before). The office did call me 3 hours later but I had already moved on with my day and was unable to answer the phone. When I did call them back, no one answered, which is extremely typical for them. I had one more pill of my medication. The office is closed on Fridays, so I wasn’t able to make contact with someone until the following Monday. When I called them Monday morning, they gave me zero empathy or hardly any regard for them missing my appointment and me not having any medication. The woman explained that Mondays are their busiest day because they receive so many med refill requests over the weekend. But, how and why? Shouldn’t the office have a record of how much medication they are refilling and when it is getting dangerously close for their patients to be out of medication? Quitting antidepressant medication abruptly is very dangerous and a safety issue. So, after my conversation with the lady on the phone Monday morning, she said that she would “try” to send my refill request to the “back” but that I had to make an appointment to get my meds refilled. That is fine, and I understand, but they were the ones that missed my appointment last Thursday (3 days ago) plus charged my credit card already for the appointment last Wednesday. Which, I also understand, they charge your credit card 24 hours before the appointment. But they missed my appointment. So, I schedule an appointment for the following day (Tuesday at 1pm). I told her I would call at the end of the day (Monday) to verify that my prescription refill was sent to the pharmacy. I called back at 4pm Monday to verify this, and it still had not been done. After reiterating to them that I had not taken it in 3 days, they finally sent over the refill for “enough to get to me through to my next appointment.” I called CVS to see how many pills this was, and it was ONE. They had sent over one pill for me to “get to tomorrow.” Now, the next day rolls around. It is Tuesday and my appointment is at 1pm. I never receive a call for my appointment. They missed my appointment yet again. The office calls and says that the doctor is running behind and that my appointment needs to be rescheduled for 4pm. It is at this moment I decide I will never be going back to them ever again. I had a psychiatrist for 5 years, before going here, that not once ever missed my medication refills and these issues had never occurred. I am astounded and it was so frustrating that it brought me to writing a review. My recommendation for them would be to have an office that answers the phone in a prompt regard, as well as calling back patients promptly. Additionally, a system to keep track of how much medication you are giving to patients, how many days worth and how many days they have until it runs dry.

Called multiple times over a 3 week period. Left messages regarding medication refills/booking another appointment. Went to the online portal and did online requests. This place is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to a human.

I am extremally happy with the care I receive at this clinic. I had my initial appointment with John Naus, M.D., P.A. after I was referred to him from my amazing therapist. I followed the directions listed on his site. It was efficient and I received a call the following day [I submitted it after hours] to set up an appointment. I got an appointment right away and met with Dr. Naus. I did have to wait a little for my initial intake, maybe 15 min delay, which was a little unnerving however I think it helped find the correct treatment plan during the Evaluation. Since this initial Evaluation/Intake I have worked with Megan his PA who is exceptional. She has found a wonderful balance for me and my needs. If you are looking for a practice that is pen and paper scheduling and utilizes a rotary phone, this is not for you. Their website lays out all updates and how to work with the clinicians. All medication refills are easily requested via the site and sent to your Pharmacy then they text you to tell you this is completed. I recommend them to all who ask me where to go. They will help you get to the base of the issue and ensure it is treated properly not just with medication however with talk therapy/counseling.
