Riverside Park is a Wichita staple. It's nice for family get togethers or just a little break from the daily grind.

Central Riverside Park does not, but many of the parks do. Check out https://www.wichita.gov/ParkandRec/Pages/default.aspx for information on all the parks in the Wichita area. 😊
I'm sorry I can't answer that question and be certain but if it were me basically the park is on one side of a public road and the river is on the over so in my opinion the river is not in the park.
As far as I know you do not need to reserve space and it is free there is a splash pad with fountains that is on and open during the season there is also 2 playgrounds and a gazebo.
I believe it's a 1/2 mile-ish. So just loop twice. Have fun
