The workers here are so helpful and friendly! I always feel welcome when I drop off my recycling.

Very nice and helpful staff. I Iove going there and being "released" from all that "stuff". Was wondering if you all could put some wet wipes out. I'm always forgetting them. They dry out in the car. It would be nice.

The guys that work there are very nice and very helpful. They always help me unload my stuff.

Yes, cardboard, glass, #1 and #2 plastic, paper, tin cans, and aluminum.
Yes, there is one bin for clear glass and one for all others. Lids should be removed. Clean glass only - they don't want to deal with food debris.
They don't take tires. I've hauled some to Wilson Tire but they charge anywhere from $1.25 to $7.50 each depending on size, and who you ask. Have also gone to the Joplin recycling center when they have free drop-off, usually in spring.
No, all free.
No. This is to drop off materials for recycling, not buying scrap.
You can take them anytime they will take your broken microwave in the Black Mac Roy trailers tossing in there
No. They take clean plastic, cardboard, glass, tin cans, aluminum foil, aluminum cans, paper, and egg cartons. Once or twice a year they do a big dump weekend were you can dispose of broken appliance and scrap.. However to answer your question further, if you live local you can haul yard waste like grass clippings and tree limbs etc to the City's compost site out on the end of Maple street by the public works building.
