I got a female puppy from Crista in April of 2021 from a Trinity x Geiger litter and she is now 15 months old. As a dog, Briar is hands down the smartest, most quick to learn dog I’ve ever been around. I’ve taught her any trick I’ve wanted and usually within 10 minutes. Not only is she incredibly smart, but she is very well behaved (for 98% of the time, she’s still a puppy). She’s never been destructive and can be trusted to be alone with a lot of temptations. She does have a very intense interest with the cat but even then, listens well when told to leave it alone. She aims to please and that is demonstrated through her reliable recall and quick adjustments if corrected. Physically, Briar is beautiful and structurally sound. I have had to keep food out for her 24/7 just as her appetite fluctuates and she doesn’t always eat when given the chance. Having grown up with labs this has been a surprise but I have recognized that this may be a usual behavior for the breed. She’s great around little kids and other dogs and has been exactly what I was looking for. She is protective of her immediate family around strangers but not excessively so. I get asked constantly where I got my dog from and I always refer them to Crista. Aside from producing incredibly great dogs, Crista has been the best to work with. Absolutely any question I have had prior-to and post-getting my dog she has answered with detail and enthusiasm. This is often a rarity among breeders and I have been so incredibly thankful to have found Crista and her dogs.
