I went there with no appointment but i had all the documents required, i got my license within 15 minutes, which is the fastest license I ever had since I’ve been in u.s, it was transfer state license, give them 10/10 from my experience with them.

I went to renew my license and change my last name. Had all of my documents and 2 forms of address. The lady asked me if my address on my previous license was correct and I told her "no" and provided my forms of address. I had been waiting a month for my license to come only to realize she put the wrong address on my license. When I went in to have it corrected, I was told I needed to pay for another one. Please explain why I need to pay for her mistake? The staff is really unprofessional and rude. From now on, I will drive the 30 minutes to the other office.

This place is extremely slow, they now have a new check in system where you check in and wait in the hallway and don't allow you to have anyone with you when you go to the window to talk to a clerk. Also they like to try to stick other people's past due balances other people's account watch for this.

Be patience, they're only two employees there to handle transactions. I had to repeat call over a period of five minutes. But I got through. Once you do, make appointment, best way to get your business handled.
Yes, just make sure you have ALL your documents needed. You can get an appointment with in a day or two.

Make sure her birth certificate is the original one with a state seal and not a photo copy. They wont accept copies.
Some form of residence, bill or bank statement to name a few, a form of ID drivers lisence, state ID and Social security card
Call to ask what you need to bring in and make sure to bring your whole life story because you will still be missing paperwork
Not sure about out of state change but you do need your birth citificate ss card and 2 proofs of residence
