I had my mail-in ballot in 3 days. I mailed it back and received a text 3 days later that it was received by the Clerk’s office. I am very pleased!

I called to ask about my identification for voting by mail and the elections department was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I explained clearly what I needed and the woman on the phone said “uh okay i have no idea what you are even asking” then proceeded to redirect me several times before disconnecting the call. They should have better support for young or first time voters that need help.

I have lived in Columbia since 2017, and every time I have a question about voting, my polling place, identification, anything at all that would require their attention, the staff has been nothing but prompt, courteous, and efficient in getting me the help and information I need. Never worry about the service you'll get calling the Boone County Clerk's Office!
