They did not take very good care of my grandmother yes she is a handful but sometimes it was hours b4 they came to see why her light was on & i know first hand as i was there one time while she waited i then went & found a worker to help her the male aid helped find a worker to hell her on more than one occasion

Excellent patient care. Staff very family friendly . Our Dad spent his last two years at SCMCF. Dignity and respect all the time for Dad and our family. Thank You for all you did for us. 🙏👍!

If I could leave a negative 5 I would. My dad has been here 24 hours and still no meds here for him from the facility. After first 19 hours they managed to get a couple out of the emergency dispensary. No one stops in his room to check on him as we have been sitting here all day and actually went home and got his meds so that he would have them. Don't judge a book by the cover as it looks beautiful and clean but has been nothing but a nightmare for 24 hours so far. I wish I was joking but I'm not!

Brand new facility, room my father was in was right off a dining area so noisy. TV was often left on all night in my dads room even after repeated family requests that it be turned off. My dad is diabetic and we discovered he was being tested at 6 am to check his sugars, insulin administered and no food served until 8am. My father was rarely given a shower. Bed baths were the norm. Physical and occupational therapy were unsatisfactory with many sessions consisting of minimal staff directed therapy. There were several instances where my dad sat dozing in a wheelchair in the therapy center while the therapist was in an office on the computer. Most staff members did not know my dads name and visits to his room involved no friendly interaction. My dad is not on Medicaid so once “therapy” was no longer covered by insurance, the daily cost out of my dads pocket was $325 a day. When we moved our dad to a different facility they found my dad to have bed sores at a level of 2, almost 3. No mention had been made to the family and no medical notes about this condition were included in his discharge. Would NOT recommend this facility. And the old adage that you get what you pay for does not apply here.
