Called to pay my bill and the lady I dealt with named Jessica was unprofessional and very RUDE.

Here they are again this morning, dependable as always. They tend to come the same time every week which is also a consistency I appreciate. We switched to this company several years ago after having 2 other companies that would skip pick-up or quit showing up without notice. I'm really grateful for the professionalism of the employees and overall company.

I switched to Western Disposal for my residential cleanup maybe a year and a half ago, and I'm so glad I did. They are always on time, they never miss my trash or recycling, and they are very communicative. Prior to Western, I had been cycling through one horrible company after another. If they offer pickup in your area, you should for sure choose them.

Clean area, lower costs to drop off materials. Can get busy.

Just about anything that has no further use. No hazardous waste, or televisions. But try Ecocyle first for recycling things like metal, electronics, or compost.
If the are fluorescent bulbs then they need to go to Hazardous Waste on 63rd st.... incandescents can just go to the dump at Western Disposal
Hi Keith: The Boulder County Recycle Center (the processor for all single-stream recycling in the County) does not accept photographs for recycling. Thanks for checking!
Yes you can but will be charged extra for it.
Call it in..and get it switched out.
To clarify, Western Disposal only accepts material that can legally be disposed of at the landfill. Railroad ties ARE accepted at the landfill so Western Disposal does accept them for disposal.
This is correct. To our knowledge there are no recycling or reuse options for down pillows.
Yes, you can bring this to our facility. For a commercial entity the charge is 80 cents per 20 lbs. Thanks for reaching out!
Yes we do
Check your city there are often branch dropoffs on a set date of each month.
They mulch it and it's also made into compost.
HI LJ: We discontinued our free compost giveaways as of May 2017 because we no longer process organics into compost here at our facility. We grind the organics we collect and transport it out to A1 Organics in Keenesburg to be processed into compost. We still carry compost (from A1 and Colorado Materials) but because we have to purchase it from those vendors we no longer give it away.
Yes, you can
Hey John: As a follow up to my response a few days ago, EcoCycle is actually holding tours in April that will cover the topic of where recycling is going. If you have access to facebook you can see the event announcement here: https://www.facebook.com/ecocycle.zerowaste/photos/gm.327820487868412/10156904915615822/?type=3&theater If not give them a call.
Yes! Anytime during the month of January you can put your tree beside your compost cart. It will be collected on your compost day.
Hey Jen: Our first shred day for 2019 is on June 2. Please see the full schedule here: https://www.westerndisposal.com/blog/2019-customer-appreciation-events/ Happy Holidays!
That varies by location -- in what city are you located?
Good Morning Alexia! For residential collection we're on one day delay this week. Friday collection will take place on Saturday. Let me know if you have any other questions.
To recycle it would be best to try Resource Central or Ecocycle located at 6400 Arapahoe first (but make sure you remove the gas and oil which can be disposed of at Household Hazardous locates on 63rd behind Boulders Recycling Center)
I would have to call them, I don't have a real tree.
Trash it. Unless you pull off every single piece of tape, it does not go in recycle. It cannot be metallic either. Republic sent guidelines out in a letter on this. I wonder why Western did not give you info on this.
Cleaned dumpsters is all I did , sorry.
