Worth the stop. They have plenty of free helpful information about the town and free maps that are really helpful. Would definitely stop here if you are visiting Estes.

No fires. Air quality is great as of July 5 2018. It can change if any fires develop though

Haven't heard.

I have read that timed entry reservations are required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park. I also read that our confirmation papers for our camping reservations in Estes Park will serve as our timed entry reservations to RMNP. Is this correct?

If you end up with not getting a timed entry as long as you get there before 9 or after 3 you can enter

leasing 2 condos in Sept 2021. we will want to drive trail ridge (2 cars) 3 passengers in one and 4 passengers in the other. will we need reservations on the day we decide to make the trip up trail ridge, and what is the fee?

The Rocky Mountain National Park has great campsites with plenty of trails and rock climbing. Reservations are a good idea. We were there for a week and loved it.
