Horrible!!! I reserved a room for 3 nights as I wanted to be close to family and this is the only motel in the area. I called the number and gave my info over the phone. Was sent a code for the office door to retrieve my room key from the desk. The step to get into the room is very high. At first glance, the room seemed adequate for my needs. My boyfriend was feeling unwell and needed to rest. As he slept, I stated seeing how bad it really was. The sheets on one bed were stained, cobwebs on the curtains, the fridge and microwave were ancient, dirty under the appliances, holes in the bathroom walls where the towel rack should be, rust around the bathroom light fixture and a lousy patch job in the ceiling were an exhaust vent should be. The Wi-Fi was a joke. There is a Roku tv in the room but, with the bad Wi-Fi, you couldn’t stream anything and the Closed Caption was on the tv and wouldn’t go away. Admittedly, the lady was very nice however, for what they charged for the room ($400 for 3 nights) was outrageous. I spent many years as an executive housekeeper and I would NEVER have allowed a guest to stay in this room. I checked out the next morning, got funds refunded and stayed Oneonta. Needles to say, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Wouldn't recommend to most. Very friendly staff, but.... Thankfully for this place its the only spot in miles! Nothing terrible, just don't expect most outlets to work, or to have a TV over 14 inches big. Also why isnt trash emptied daily? It took 3 days for the first one to be changed!

Great Motel with a country setting. Clean spacious with great beds. The lady that owns it is really nice and a great price. I stay here once a year during the Fair. So if anyone is traveling through Walton New York this is the place to stay. Thanks CUPCAKE
