Get ready for psychological warfare with the staff whenever you visit

The staff made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed.Since there is a power outage in Detroit/I visited this Library to charge my phone and to play a few games of chess on the computer. The staff gave me that feeling I get whenever I shop at any beauty supply store for my wife hurry-hurry,buy-buy-leave-leaveleave. Besides myself and a few others,there wasn't any need for the security guard to walk and Pace back and forth near me as I used the computer. The staff limited my access to the electrical outlets and I was told to plug my phone in at an outlet at which they can control as in to turn it off and on at there choosing.I know my phones and how they charge there is no doubt in my mind to assume that they turned the electrical socket power off and I was under the impression that it was still charging and I say this because I had my phone charged up for a good 10 minutes before realizing that they turned the electrical power to the socket off/ then one of the staff turned it on after I brought it to their attention that my phones weren't charging etc.. I even told the staff that I need my phone to go to work for I rely on my phones GPS etc.. luckily my niece brought her battery pack for me my wife and daughter to use. There is something wrong with the staff there and I refuse to even waste any more time attempting to articulate what is wrong with their proximities and their prejudgments issues, for I thank God that I do not have to rely on that place of agitation. I feel very saddened for those who may be in need of a place for a resource to charge their phone get book ,use the computer or to simply get a drink of water. And the sad thing about it is that I showed them my library card they said it did not need to be updated but they asked for my identification and I believe that's just to know where I live at. I'm so glad I did not use the computer to clear my email for they are very nosy and pressed for attention.

You can get divorce papees (by logging on to a public computer), but they are not free. Printing is 10¢ per page for black and white, or $1 per page for color. You either need a library card or a guest pass ($1) to use the computers.
Not anymore cause it's summer and now they open on Fridays 10-6
Hello Ms. Elder, Yes we do have an area where you can make photo copies, but we do not have a fax machine. Black and white copies are 10 cents per page and color copies are $1 per page. Branch hours for today are 10 AM to 6 PM.
You saying that you need to get one library card the same day if so yeah but you need proof of where you live
Taxes are not actually done at the branch. A representative grom the Accounting Aide Society will be at the branch on Tuesdays and Thursdays for part of the day.
