Have never seen such a garbage/recycle drop off point! Very efficient and easy in and out. They charged $33 for a single vehicle load of recycle items. Alarming to see the amount of garbage we generate.

What a great city dump! Well designed and operated. Excellent recycle system. Quick in and out. Amazing though how much garbage and junk this city throws away every day!! A lot to manage, sheesh, amazing. Another day, another dump run....it's always clean in the recycle area which is good. You csnbalso occaisionally dobate usuable items at the recycke center. Real handy when Goodwill has a long line

Yah, I know this place is expensive, but it's so damn convenient. The staff is curt but efficient. I'd rather not drive to Southpark or somewhere north. Time is money as well. Keep the dump!!

Easy in & out, this place is fun for small kids and adults! Clean & easy. Love the misters...cause you know people are throwing away nasty building materials. Great prices and...if you’re like me it’s a bit cathartic to throw your junk into the heap.

Not too mention that the staff is never consistent with their rules, 1/2 of the staff their are grumpy, and flat out rude...also watch how close they try to put city trucks to you and endanger you bc the city guys don't care...this place since it reopened has made dumping at a dump like visiting a prison ...GO ELSEWHERE
Styrofoam is considered garbage at both South and North transfer stations. Styrofoam is recycled at the king county transfer stations.
Yes, they have an area for scrap metal.
They have a recycling area just inside the entrance
Pretty sure it'd pass as garbage. You pay per pound, call them to check if they have minimums. There may be more environmentally friendly ways to take care of those though.
Alkaline,lithium,rechargeable and car batteries
yes they do
Yes
You can't dump wet paint, the paint needs to be solid by either setting it out to dry and mixing it periodically or by mixing paint hardener which you can buy at the hardware store or kitty litter. If paint is completely hardened you can actually put it in your dumpster at home.
Absolutely
Florescent bulbs are hazardous and should not be dumped in the recycling area
Yes. Regular hours.
No they don't take flourescent light bulbs
Go to the trash side, then they have signs for where to go with those.
Yes in the garbage
Not sure. Google and see if there is a limited number of tires you can bring in and if you have to remove the door on the refrigerator
In the main building if it's big, small amounts can go to the recycle building (first one On the right)
Not at the transfer station, you can dump it at a scrap yard, or vehicle recycling center.
Of course they do I don't believe there's an extra charge for them either although I'm about 100% sure they've been closed a couple hours on the other hand Bow Lake has some much extended hours
Usually they take Christmas trees for free for a month after Christmas otherwise its a yard waste fee
Yes, right off the 175th exit from I-5
Not to my knowledge. Your best bet is to find the nearest state or county park.
Yes at no extra charge for them. Just the standard weight fees.
If it's taken apart, it will be recyclable metal. If whole, you get charged for an appliance.

Yes ! Cars and SUV'S pay flat rate . 30$$ for garbage. 20$$ for yard waste.
No.
Also interconnection down in Fremont around the corner from North transfer station (off stone way 1109 N. 35th St) and...goodwill is a good option but there seems to always be lines, and interconnection rarely has any kind of back up, you just pull up around the loading area on 35th and drop it off, also would like to add that although goodwill is a good org., when it comea to electronic equip, interconnection has millions of parts to actually fix the broken tv and yes resale it, but for those on public assistance they have such a reduced rate . Also for items the can't fix it's all melted down and the valuable materials such as gold, aluminum, etc will go back into a general fund for those in need, both are great orgs, but for elecs, definitely recommend interconnection above any other electronic recycling program :)
So just a suggestion, but there are some places you can sell them at, at the dump its gonna be like 20 if there clean wood(not painted)
Yes they can be recycled as scrap metal for the broken ones or working can be donated to GoodWill which has a drop station in our onsite recycle center ( to the right as you inter the station),
No you need to go to the hazardous waste station up on N125th and Stone way.
If it's a lot it may. For me they've always just charged a $30 flat fee
