My food was just disgusting!! The shrimp was mushy and was cleaned. The sauce was watered down and too salty, my corn and potatoes was undercook…. I had ordered from here before in the past and the food was pretty good so I don’t know maybe it’s a new cook in the back.

Very disappointing. I’ve visited the Shaking Crab in Nanuet and it was a very good experience. Unfortunately the service and food is not consistent. My partner and I couldn’t even finish our food and after waiting 15 mins to speak with a “manager” (which is a lifetime when you’re ready to go and hungry) her concern was more about keeping our money than satisfying or righting the situation. This food was just down right disgusting. The service was delayed and the “solution” from management was enough to make me sign off from ever visiting the other locations.

They don’t clean their shrimp well and it was very mushy. I am so disappointed. I also ordered the shrimp wl the head off and ofcourse my order came with the heads on. Never Again!!

A small parking lot and all the restaurants share it. So parking is scarce.
We were just there and it was a 45 min wait on a Monday, so instead of waiting we ordered to take out and the hostess must think we don’t do math because she was saying our total was over $100 for 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. When we corrected her, then she gave us the correct amount on receipt, which was NOT itemized. She tried including 20% gratuity! That’s unprofessional and sneaky
You should make a reservation because they are usually packed and still have a short wait with the reservation anyway
Safe, but not obnoxious. Really great food too
They close at 10 p.m. on Sundays so the last order is probably 9-9:30. You can double check that though.
