Such a wonderful place in any season!! Everyone who works, and volunteers here is so friendly and informative. Grateful to have Kline Creek Farm.

We love visiting this farm! It has a very nice gift shop where you can buy local honey, old fashioned games, recipe books as well as dresses/bonnets. The farm itself is lovely with friendly welcoming workers . They always have interesting programs for kids and families. On this visit we saw chickens, horses, cows, sheep, a cat and a snake. The hiking trails have beautiful fall colors right now.

We went as part of a field trip. A great place to learn about farm life in the 1890s. The kids loved picking corn, digging for potatoes, seeing the blacksmiths work, and playing the games that kids played back then. It was also cool to watch them make food in the kitchen of the Kline home. I'll be taking my daughter again. It's beautiful there.

Great place to see a little bit of the past. Real working farm. A 5$ donation is all that is asked.

Yes
There should be honey in the gift shop. May or may not be honey from this farm.
The main farm extended to the boundaries of roads and prairie path is roughly 200 acres. The adjacent forest preserve properties triple that amount.

No, dogs or pets of any kind are not allowed on the farm. They have chickens running about plus the barn cats. There's just too many chances that things go bad plus the horses are not used to having dogs around. So it is a safety thing for all concerned. Your pets are best left at home so that you can better enjoy the visit.
