Busy, but tasty place for some Mexican food in Georgetown. Recommend calling ahead. Good selection, fair prices, open air seating, but parking can be a little hard to find. I was in the mood for some Mexican food on a Thursday after work in August, and found this spot not too far from downtown. It’s pretty easy to get too as it’s right off I-5, but the turn coming off I-5 is pretty sharp and sudden, so be prepared to turn left as soon as you exit 162 on I-5 south. There is free street parking nearby and I think some space in the back, but it will likely be full, so plan to drive around a little to find parking. I didn’t call ahead of time and when I entered, I had to put my name on the list, with an estimated wait time of 15 minutes. It was pretty accurate and I got a table in the patio in the back. There’s a lot of spaces inside and outside the restaurant, but sitting on the patio feels much nicer. I ordered the Puerco en Salsa Verde and Chicken Enchilada Verdes. I got the Chicken Tacos Dorados as the appetizer. I really enjoyed all of my dishes and felt pretty full after my meal. The tacos dorados were nice and crispy and the meat inside is well marinated. The dipping sauce is good too. The Puerco en Salsa Verde was a good sized plate with tortillas on the side. The pork shoulder was cooked just right and not too hard to chew. The potatoes were also very tasty, and not overcooked. Overall I really enjoyed the salsa verde flavor from my dishes, but it was definitely on the more sour side. The staff are pretty nice and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. Definitely felt like I got a good value from this meal. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area!

Can't wait to go back! We stopped by for dinner on a whim because we heard it was a great spot. Coming from AZ we have high expectations for Mexican food and we finally found the right place. Everything from their homemade tortillas, chips, and potato salad to our entrees were flavorful and thoughtfully seasoned. I was already planning on what to order next time we go. If you're looking for a great sit down Mexican spot this is the place to go.

I had the tortilla soup with chicken. It was really good except that it had way too much cheese and it was difficult to eat because all the cheese was forming strings when I tried to eat it. This was not a graceful meal. I'd wave off this dish if I were on a date or trying to impress. Last time I had the pozole and that was much more graceful to eat. They have good authentic food here (I'm Mexican so I'm well qualified to judge) the prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is festive. We ate out on the heated patio, it was chilly outside but the patio was toasty.

Great Mexican food and drinks and fun and pleasant ambiance. I sat out on the patio that has a clear covered roof and heaters on half of it. The restaurant opens to the patio with a big garage door. The carne asada tacos are delicious and a generous portion. The cocktails are really good. I had the Old Cuban, which is a rum, cava drink, and my husband had the jalapeño margarita. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back!

The patio is in the back, you have to trave through the restaurant to get to it, so food code doesn't allow pets inside a restaurant, and so no.
Bar usually has seating.

Yes, it is very pretty and shaded and has a very garden-like atmosphere.
