The place is just good, you can go there be in calm at least that how it when for me, just near the lake and just take a sit near a tree or just walking around the lake, I recommend this place to go for a walk.

I wouldnt that water is nasty but fishing is alright got a bunch of catfish in there.
I am just another visitor, and yes they have programs like gymnastics, camps, if you visit the park you have a main office entering through the parking lot on the left you will see the building, there you can be informed about the different programs they have for children . I hope that the information you provide has been of your use.
