I really enjoyed Roister. Every dish we had was delicious. I had the Cesar salad and the nunda, which was amazing. My friend had the watermelon salad and “sea” bass for diner, which was also really, really good. Cool vibe, very busy, but definitely worth it.

Amazing spot for dinner- great food, drinks and atmosphere. Highly recommend the fried chicken/sous vide dish!

Birthday dinner with my wife and daughter was festive and delicious. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. Only complaint is that we were seated along the entryway railing, "protected" from the gusts of cold wind from the front door opening and closing only by a curtain. Didn't really do the job. This was just a chilly fall evening. Can't imagine this will do the trick in winter. They need to invest in an inner door!

Lovely, lovely!!! Such a wonderful experience. Shout out to Michael, the bartender, for making our night amazing. The rilletes were out of this world as were the scallops, pasta and cocktails. This is a Chicago must!!

None that we've experienced.
Yes
I would recommend 1-2 hours depending on your group size
No not for toddlers. If the kid is 10 and older they would enjoy the dishes.
I did not make the reservations so I'm not certain of how that works, but I can tell you whatever hoops you have to jump through, the experience is worth it.
The menu is very small so i would definitely call ahead
They have professional service, just call , some one help you out
Part of the reason for Roister's existence is to be a casual dining experience
