Possibly the best customer service in the state. almost everyone behind the phone is incredibly helpful and the staff handling service calls are incredibly sympathetic if you're honest with them. Only complaint could be that the call center seems a bit understaffed with long wait times per call, but they don't let this affect quality.

Contacted them about reconnecting service to my employer facility which was a planned job with them.hour after disconnect called to have reconnected which now is two hours and no sign of them yet. NIPSCO is so lazy

Told me I had a bill from 2020 that some how never made it to me. Then proceeded to charge me almost 500.00 to start a new service. If I wasn't required to use them I wouldn't!

From start to finish...it varies You have to have a deposit... They will let you know if there Are previous bills...that need ti ve clear up at that address... Because if there is... Your service will be delayed... They will contact your Landlord... But when everything is completed and cleared... You can be scheduled within a couple of days... Much have at least one gas Appliance working...hooked up... Or furnace...they will lite hot water tanks... Good Luck
