Very disappointing experience today while visiting The Pawn Box. I had several items to sell and was asked by the lady helping me what I would like for them. I offered my price and was then asked how much one of the items cost brand new. The lady then looked it up on ebay used, showed the price to what i assume was her boss and said I told her it was worth twice as much basically implying I was trying to pull one over on her. From there things got worse as I was offered amounts that were 1/3rd of what it was offered for on ebay. I understand that the place needs to sell for a profit, but this just seems ridiculous to me. Needless to say I left with my items, reached out on a group chat and was instantly offered twice as much. Several years ago prices offered were fair and reasonable. I guess those times are over. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Buyer beware, drove over 30 minutes to pick up an item we discussed over Facebook marketplace only to find out they sold it right as I walked in. Waste of time! Don’t promise items you won’t hold. I confirmed I was on the way and you still sold it. At least be honest if it’s first come first serve. Stay away! I won’t be doing business here.
