It is a good range. However it's near double what you would pay at others, plus it's timed. It'd be a last resort pick.
A.T. Houston
Excellent customer service. Worker went beyond the call of duty to help someone, total gentleman. Came highly recommended by law enforcement.

We offer Youth Shooting Camps to children as young as 8-years-old! That said, we ask that patrons use an appropriate amount of discretion when deciding to let their children (or grandchildren, as the case may be) shoot along side them. We encourage a tradition of shooting together as a family! We hope to see you and your grandson at the Range!
Yes.
Yes, we allow the use of shotguns during weekday hours only (Mon-Thur). Only buckshot and slugs are permitted; NO BIRDSHOT ALLOWED. Please feel free to call if you have any other questions!
Hi, Christian - If you are over the age of 18, you may shoot at the Range unaccompanied; however, you must be over the age of 21 to shoot a handgun. If you do not have any prior shooting experience, you are still welcome to shoot alone, but we do encourage that you speak with our Staff to receive the safety-and-handling instruction that you need. I hope this answers your question. We hope to see you at the Range!
Why bring the Gov't into things they don't need to be in? Private gun sales are legal. If he is worried about his liability, just do a bill of sale.
Hi ~ Yes, we do! Please read more detailed information here (https://www.bestshotrange.com/personal-learn-to-shoot/) about what we can offer you and your family. We look forward to working with you soon!
Hi, Patricia - You do not need any papers to bring the gun to our Range to shoot. What we recommend is a thorough cleaning of the firearm, scheduling a Personal Learn-to-Shoot if you are new to shooting, and some consistent Range time to increase your comfort/safety with and improve your handling of the gun. Please call the Range directly (281-648-7468) if you have additional questions about scheduling a Learn-to-Shoot lesson. Thank you for your inquiry, and we look forward to having you at Best Shot Range!
Brass case only
Hi ~ Thank you for your question. Yes, we work with individuals at any level of experience. You can call the Range to schedule a Personal Learn-to-Shoot, which is a one-on-one introduction to firearm handling and safety along with basic shooting instruction -- this can be scheduled at your convenience. You can also Register Online for an upcoming License To Carry course, which usually takes place a couple times each month. We offer many different options for Membership, which will make it easy to visit the Range for regular target practice, as well as make you eligible for discounts on many of the products we offer for sale, including ammo! Please feel free to contact the Range directly with any further questions. 281.648.7468 ~ Take care!
Hi, Ann - Thank you for being in touch! We do not have skeet capabilities. You are able to shoot shotguns at Best Shot Range, but only Buckshot and Slugs are allowed (no Birdshot) during non-peak hours. We hope to see you around the Range! Take care.
Yes, as long as it is brass-cased FMJ, no steel core allowed. We look forward to seeing you at the Range!
You may collect your own brass. Any brass forward of the firing line is off limits.
Yes they do and it says everything on their website. https://www.bestshotrange.com/license-to-carry/
No. We are open to the public. There are many Memberships available, though!! C'mon in and check things out: Mon/Wed/Thurs 11am-8pm Tues 11am-6pm Fri/Sat 10am-9pm Sun 12-6pm
Call and ask. I don't see why not since its nowhere near as powerful as a real gun.
Howdy! We do rent guns and sell ammunition. The cost of a Lane Fee is $18 for a single shooter, and the Rental Fee is $10 (+ the cost of ammunition, which varies). If you are new to shooting, please notify our Staff upon your arrival. If time allows, our Staff may be able to assist you with a very basic safety orientation. We hope to see you at the Range!
Howdy, Dillon - Yes, we offer many gift options! We have gift certificates that can be purchased for any dollar amount, as well as "Range Passes" that include the cost of lane fee, rental fee, and a limited supply of ammo. We also offer "experiences," such as our Cowboy Package (when you get to shoot a selection of guns from the "Old West" era) or an opportunity to shoot our S&W .500 (which is pretty unforgettable!). Please visit the Range or call directly to make purchasing arrangements. We look forward to seeing y'all at the Range!
Yes, .22 Rifles are allowed on the Pistol Range. Please see "# 27" on our list of Range Rules: https://www.bestshotrange.com/range-rules/ Thank you, and we hope to see you at the Range!
I would call and ask them. Some places don't like steel casings. It doesn't seem like the place that would care about that though.
Yes, children are welcome to shoot here as long as they are supervised 100% of the time!
They charge per person and Also they rent arms and sell ammunitions.
Yes, I took mine but we never got a chance to shoot it because we're having so much fun popping clay pigeons with my shotgun
Yes
