Yes you can. But you need to be entered as a reciprocal borrower. To do that, bring your Chicago Public Library card to the Circulation Desk along with your government issued photo ID and two current pieces verifying your address (lease, mortgage statement, utility bills, etc.). We will check with CPL to verify that you are in good standing and enter your card into the SWAN system, giving you access to over 100 suburban libraries! -- Briana, Outreach Services

You do not need a library card. However, you will need to show photo ID. Black and White printing is 10 cents per page. Color is 50 cents per page.

You need some sort of proof of address. They need first class mail (so like a bank statement, it can't be like a letter your friend sends you) and an ID. You get them at the circulation desk on the first floor. If you're confused just ask them, they're very nice about explaining it.
