I appreciate the care they gave my sweet Lucy. I didn't have an appointment, had never been here, and they were able to fit me in and hospitalize my girl. Thank you Dr. Lively. The front desk receptionist was very kind as well. I'm glad to have her back home.

Very caring vets. We have two English bulldogs and they have special medical needs, so I asked the Smokey Mountain Bulldog Rescue for a recommendation and they endorsed the practice.

Our experience with Village Vet dates back to the late 1970s when it was initially opened and operated by Dr. Millie Bass. For most of these many decades, the care was very good and the cost was expensive, but at least tolerable. In the last few years, the care has diminished and the cost has become prohibitive. When I can take my furry friend to the Pet Emergency Clinic on Kingston Pike for less $$ than Village Vet, we decided it was time for a change. Fortunately, we realized that three of the Vets from Village Vet recently moved to MY PETS WELLNESS ( 3 locations in Knoxville), where they have been providing our dog excellent care for a much more reasonable cost. Dr. Amie Goodrich, Dr. Katherine Blaine and Dr. Samantha Compton, are former Vets with Village Vet, and along with several other Vets, can provide all of the services available thru Village Vet., They also have three locations in Knoxville which is actually more convenient. This is Great News and such a relief. We've had great experiences with Dr. Goodrich over the years, but unfortunately, Village Vet actually refused to tell us where she is now. Luckily we found her via a Google Search and we've been very pleased with the care and the cost. While most people will spend money on the pets that they won't spend on themselves (which is us), there comes a point where you feel you're just being taken advantage of, which is why we're no longer a client. Great vets and good service once you’re in the tx room. Front desk could use a course in customer service.
