Waited over 5 hrs in the emergency room. Had intense pain in side and back. Still waiting to see a Dr. It's no wonder, whenever possible, people in crossville go to cookeville.

Self-admitted to ER with just physical pain, was not receiving very good care, decided to check myself out. Four guys held me down, strapped me to a bed by my hands feet and chest, and one even elbowed me to the throat. I wasn't upset much until then and they literally held me against my will and physically assaulted me. Never would I ever come near this place again and would not be surprised if they truly hurt someone.

Set here 10 hours and watch others come in an go right back because they have money and that is all this place cares about the more money you have means faster and better care would have been better off going to the Jamestown hospital

My name is Marja D’auria My husband and I are new to the area and we have been diligently trying to find the right places to go in Crossville for all our medical concerns we’ve asked around to different people we encounter and almost everyone says we should go to Cookeville or Knoxville…because medical staff here in Crossville in not good…Wow who wants to drive that far for blood work or if you just have a simple cold or flu?? Anyway I went to Cumberland County Medical Center on Tuesday Oct, 18 for blood work for Pre-Op surgery procedure I’m having and let me tell you from the woman at the door named Shirley, the young Lady who did the intake named Hanna and everyone in between was amazing, greeted you with a warm smile and hello, they were all diligent, helpful and very kind..I just can’t say enough. Then to top that off the next day I’m looking over my paperwork and realized I didn’t get the consent form for my surgery so I CALL on the phone, and we all know that sometimes when you call a medical facility it is normally a night mare, now a days you get a recording or you get placed on hold and sometimes you’re forgotten…. Not the case here I called and was connected to the records dept and a sweet spoken woman by the name of Lisa picked up, I explained my dilemma she explained that they do not give the letter of consent at this facility that I would have to have my primary Doctor do that, she ask me to hold so she can see if all my results were in, when she returned she told me that everything but the EKG were in and that she would stay on top of it and try and put a rush on it for me, she said she would stay on top of it and that as soon as the records are available she would fax the documents to both my primary physician and my surgeon and she would call me when it was all done to confirm it had been done. Low and behold at 9:36 this morning there was a missed call on my phone from Cumberland Medical Center, when I called them back they connected me to the records dept. and a young lady by the name of Elizabeth picked up the phone, I asked for Lisa she told me Lisa had stepped out she asked me my name and when I told her she knew who I was and said that Lisa had called me to confirm that she had faxed my records to both doctors. I’m Just going to say that you guys are getting a bum rap this place is nothing like I’ve heard and if I were you I would start asking people that if they were satisfied with the service to please write you a review because it really does matter everyone reads reviews these days and its time we all change the narrative because as far as I’m concerned it simply isn’t true! I wish I can give you all ten stars! Thank you Marja D’Auria

They say it's their policy but I can't understand it either
I'm not sure check with your doctor
It is an infection control thing. If you ask for one, someone will get one for you. And then it is yours to keep.
Yes
I think they have restrictions for no more than 2 guests at a time and when patiens undergo procedures ask you to step out. I also believe that around 7a and 7p they have shift change and ask guests to step out. I am sure during the other times though you can visit. I know if you leave now you will be able to get in when you arrive.
They'll turn up. Call the ER and the girl who answers the phone should know. If not, ask to speak with lost and found. Good luck!
