Impossible to get pricing without meeting with the unwanted grief counselor.

I requested a military marker be placed in the military area or at the foot of my father's grave. The marker is 12"x24" and 1" thick, supplied by VA. The cost to do that I was quoted $2970. After 30 days of requesting information.

My family and I have been highly unsatisfied with Roselawn. When my grandma passed away in 2019 they laid her to rest in the wrong spot after my aunt had went and showed them were she needed to be placed for her final resting spot... How do you mess something like that up. They are very inconsiderate of a grieving family and seem to have no care in the world. When my mom went and watched them dig my grandma up and lay her to rest once again the grounds keeper said well you didn't notice the day of the funeral that she was not in the right spot? Basically placing blame on my family for not being able to see the ground to notice... Who in there right mind would be paying attention to that as they are laying there love one to rest and who would notice with all the carpet and boards they had laying around. What an awful way to treat a family that is grieving and has just lost a loved one. We then had to basically keep pushing them to put my grandmas head stone in as they were taking there sweet time as she lay there unmarked. A family should not have to keep hounding you to get you to mark there loved ones final resting place. My grandpa then passed away this December of 2021 and I go out to the cemetery today to visit and I notice that there grave stone is about 12 ft away from there plots the same place it was the day we buried him and also that they had not put back my grandmas grave blanket that they took off or the wreath that was placed next to them on my great grandparents plots. I then went to the office and spoke to someone and stated that the wreath and grave blanket were not on her grave and it looked like they were maybe in the same place as the day we were laying my grandpa to rest as well as the head stone that was far off from the plots because they had taken everything off. They had not moved anything back in to place. I was told that i could grab them and do it myself because it would get done sooner...It is so disheartening and sad to see the respect that they lack for our loved ones as well as the grieving family. My aunt has been trying to get ahold of them for awhile now leaving messages to get my grandpas dates put on the headstone and once again I am not sure why we are surprised but we still have not heard anything back. You would think that if your going to run or work at a cemetery you one, would have respect for the deceased as well as some empathy for there grieving families. What an awful place...I am sorry that other people are going through what our family is experiencing and looking at all the other reviews I shouldn't be surprised...if this is the new management you were talking about you should probably move on to the next person maybe then they will give the families the respect that they deserve.

I have contacted Roselawn on numerous occasions as well as other family members to fix my mom's grave. She has been gone for three years. I get a variety of answers like it got bought out, under new management, short on maintenance help and due to inclement weather. I went out recently to put a grave blanket on my parents' graves. To the left there is a grave not filled in. You can see into the grave and see plastic. To the right you see a grave with more than enough dirt to redo my mom's grave be and fill in the other grave. In front of my parents' graves you see muddy tire tracks. Why not pave a lane there as well as pave all the lanes in the cemetery to make it pristine like it use to. I asked about repaving. They said that's a project they are working on but don't have the funds. Our dead need more respect.
