La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza

La Fiamma was okay. Just okay. It was not bad but it was not great. The servers were kind but we waited over 40 minutes for our pizza at a place that serves only pizza. I know a lot of places are under-staffed these days but this place had a lot of staff and the restaurant was not full. It seemed like a long time to wait when that is the main menu item. When we finally got our pizza it was not fully cooked. The taste was good, however. I would not go back.

Cozy ambiance, good food and amazing service even when it was busy. We were grateful that this place was open despite it being a public holiday. Garlic knots were standard. SUPER LOVED their S'mores dessert, what with the oozing Belgian chocolate, caramel sauce and melting wood fired marshmallows!

The shrinkflation is real here, the large used to be an 18in pie, now it's a 15, while yes still larger than most place's large pizzas, their pizzas aren't $30+ as they are here. This was our favorite local pizza place but since last year seems to have gone down in size and quality, our specialty pizzas were under topped as well as lightly cheesed. I get that price increases make keeping up with inflation can he rough but I feel that this was just to little for too much
