Chili cheese fries definitely not the same...I was so disappointed the cheese is different and the fries could have been cooked longer 😕

PEOPLE.... this was BBQ BEFORE it was BBQ. In ages past, people (in this case we mean the PA dutch) would extend large cuts of pork, turkies etc... by "barbecuing" them, which meant stewing them down in a mix of ketchup and vinegar and some mustard so they would keep. THAT is what BBQ really is, and that is what they serve here. It is not and has nothing to do with smokers and pits or brisket or pulled pork or any other modern connotation you think it is. So don't attack them for not being BBQ, the problem is your lack of proper understanding. Everyone from this area over 50 knows when they were young and in school having cafeterias that served pork or turkey "barbecue" now and then, and THIS is what that was.
