Love that this is Christian based but....my teenaged son came here to get help for drug addiction, he ended up getting kicked out. When I came to pick him up, he was only able to get some of his personal possessions and items in his locker got left behind. He ended up losing some very personal possessions that meant a lot to him and even after calling and coming back to try and get the items the workers there would not give him his property. We were not happy about this. I hope they don't do this to anyone else. That was not cool at all and not 'Christian ' to steal someone else's property.

We had a very large pick up of furniture at our home. The two gentlemen that arrived from Grace Centers were courteous, timely and very professional. This is an excellent organization with excellent people who represent them.

Yes. Grace Centers of Hope is all about restoring lives. Women and children are their priority.
Maybe their was no availability right now it shouldn't matter whether you have a substance abuse problem or not. Try calling back and see if you can be placed on the waiting list. Let them know you really want to be in the program, persistence pays off. Ask about the 30 day shelter until something becomes available in the 1 year.
Yes. Grace Centers of Hope can definitely use those items. Thank you.
Yes, both the one year and 30 day emergency shelter programs assist in housing.

No, you have to call and schedule a day for orientation.
I couldn't possibly count how many female residents of GCH have gone thru the Program pregnant! Of course! W/open arms & open hearts! GCH is transforming women & children thru our LORD JESUS CHRIST! U won't find a more welcoming place on earth! Provided, of course, IF there are openings! I went thru the Mens Program in 2002-03 & I'm still here! PRAISE THE LORD! SpaceMonkey💗💗
If you are wanting to come into the program, you will be able to live in the center and do work for the center. However you can not start looking for employment until around 9 months

There are 30, 90 day emergency shelter programs along with a one year life skills program available...As for how long that you have to stay? It is not an involuntary program. Unless you are court ordered, you can leave when you feel...
Call Pontiac school district for adult education referrals. Grace is for people who are homeless and for intensive rehab I believe
They have a men's center and a women's center. They handle families but you need to speak with them directly.
Yes...Anything is appreciated.

There is a 1 year program for life skills and recovery and a 90 days women's shelter program. It is up to Grace Center staff to determine if you can enter either program so give them a call.
One year commitment, first two months you can't leave after that you can go on weekend visits. After 8 months you can look for a job. Spiritual counseling one-on-one Counseling group counseling Church twice a week. They have a daycare they have a learning center to help you look for a job and get you a GED for free. You cannot have your phone or any device the excesses internet while you're there. I completed the men's program, and now I'm in aftercare which is houses that they own that you can rent monthly
Yes it is a god centered program. You can not take narcotics and no heavy psych medication
Agreed with Jeffrey, narcotic and alcohol withdrawal is very dangerous. Please get them to a hospital for detox and some type of recovery program.
No phone for 9 months, After 60 days you will alllowed to go see family typically a weekend day but usually week days can be arranged if your not in classes or something like that. But family can come visit you at the center after your first 2 weeks. Good luck
They can, depending on availability. The family would be split up between the men in one building, women and children in the other. Best of luck.
