Haven't been to a show there in years. So glad we still have this charming theatre to go to.

One of the last surviving old school art theaters in Metro Detroit. Might be the very last that hasn't seen some kind of dramatic modernization - I mean this to be taken positively, the whole experience is dripping with nostalgia. Great film selections too. Highly recommend this theater to anyone who wants a throwback film experience, or wants to support a local institution.

The theater was very small and intimate compared to some newer theaters. The seats have not been upgraded with recliners or heaters; they are the old kind. That would be fine, except... there was no room to cross our legs because the seats in front of us were very close. Other than that, it was a nice experience. The bathrooms were spotless.

This theater is small but it has a classic charm to it. My first visit it wasn't crowded due to COVID, and they followed COVID protocols. Been here several times now, and I still recommend this theater. You can now buy concessions and there's no reserved seating. The staff is really friendly, and they have a cool little museum on the second level. It's a unique cinematic experience you can't find anywhere else!

Yes, Eric is right. It is a smaller elevator and the staff is very friendly about allowing access to it.
Friday e evenings, check their web site.
Michelle, we are currently open Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 5:30pm-8:00pm for popcorn and concessions and hope to see you soon. We'll open when the governor allows it. Thanks.
R.M., we look forward to your fist visit with us!
Amy, thanks for letting us know about the movie. We like when folks let us know about movies they'd like to see with us. Jordan Peterson certainly has become popular over the past few years. As you may know, the City of Farmington owns the theater. Therefore, we need to be sure not to appear to take political sides. We'll investigate the movie. But, more than likely, we won't be showing the movie due to the City's ownership. However, if you would like to get a group together for a private rental to see the movie, we can look into that. Thanks and let us know if you see other movies that catch your eye in the future.
