Wayne PD is not like any police force I've ever encountered. They are caring and compassionate and treat everyone with respect no matter the situation. They aren't out to throw people in jail and rack up charges on them. They truly do care about the citizens of Wayne and the safety and well-being of the community.

Sgt. Springer came and did a Safety Talk for our Women's Bible Study on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019. He was very personable, well-spoken, and answered all our questions. Great tips made given on how to be safe and how to deal with homeless people in our community. A great asset for the department.
