Huge, eclectic selection of records to pick through. Hard to not find something you’re interested in. Glad to have another record store downriver.

A favorite shop located south of Detroit, in the Lincoln Park (Downriver) area, is very easy to find on Fort Street. You will find a carefully curated selection of used DVDs, CDS, Cassettes, and 12" & 7" vinyl. They feature a solid selection in most genres, heavy on jazz and R&B, but also techno, disco, rock, punk, and local bands. The dollar bins are also chock full of fun discoveries. Wade and the crew are super friendly, and the prices are excellent. Any digger would be satisfied with a trip to Hello Records. I'm looking forward to going back.

Was told 18 minutes before listed closing they were closing up. I am just starting to get into records and will be taking my business elsewhere. I can understand a kitchen closing their kitchen before closing time but showing up at a store before closing time and being refused business seems absurd.

The best answer is desirable records in good condition. Most record stores do not buy records that have significant scratching. Hello buys 45s, LPs, and occasionally cassettes 8-tracks and 78s. 1960s - current releases do best.
Hi there, Customers can use the restroom. The toilet has been fitted with a digital scale. Customers are charged by weight of deposit.
As a customer who is present quite often as the Hello Records staff fields this question... Each record is desireable based on quality of the release as well of condition of the record. They will not give you a value however until the record is in front of them. Bring em in, it's the only way to know.
We’re a small vinyl (and cassette) record shop and do not purchase CDs. Thank you for considering us.
