Friendly enough stuff but questionable quality of care. I’m a dental hygienist and was a little shocked at the quality of care my partner had at his first visit. His appointment lasted less than 20 minutes. They did not polish his teeth, they did not scale them, only used a power scaler to clean his teeth and to my disappointment left tartar and stain behind on his lower front teeth. They also did not perform any periodontal charting, something that should happen at every new patient visit to access the health of their gums. When we asked for a copy of his X-rays they printed a very poor copy of them that was not diagnostic by any stretch. They were taken digitally but apparently they cannot send them digitally?? The receptionist said this was because of OSHA… OSHA does not regulate patient information but employee and workplace safety so I believe her to be very misinformed. I work at pediatric office or else I would have treated him myself. Very sad to see this quality of care being executed.

Happy with my visit. Dr Lena helped fix a tooth that I chipped. Also, had a cleaning and cavities filled. Office is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly.

Today was my 3rd ever visit here and let me say Dr. Lena and her staff are AMAZING! Professional, polite, great bed side manners, friendly, respectful, thorough with each visit. I can keep going! lol Would I recommend Passyunk Dental Group? 100% I would!

This is the shadiest dentist I have ever had an experience with. Every visit he tries to suggest that the work needed will not be covered by my insurance. It’s clearly an attempt to see if I, the patient (as well as others I’ve heard) is willing or able to pay in cash. Seems like a nice guy at first but he’s a con artist through and through
