Wouldn't give an approximate quote on a repair over the phone.

My wife took her car in for inspection. She got the car brand new towards the beginning of last year and had an alignment done by Honda later in the year when she got it inspected. They charged her $600 for an alignment which was just done, filter replacement, wiper blades, tire rotation, and oil.

Absolutely top notch customer service. They clearly explain the services they perform and recommend while not trying to unnecessarily upsell you. My wife and I are lifetime members and will not go anywhere else for our vehicle needs. They even got a dent out of my wife's bumper during an inspection and didn't mention it or charge us. We noticed a day or two later. Just taking care of their customers. Added bonus - I usually wait when I take our vehicles in and love their chocolate lab pup that greets everyone.

Awesome first time experience, they even have a beautiful dog 🐕 to greet you and I got to feed her doggy bone biscuits. She is a Labrador and just gorgeous.

Do you guys help when I want to buy a vehicle and, before I buy it, I want someone to take a look at it make sure I know what I am getting?

John Anthony | Nov 3, 2019

John, Thank you for the question. We do very thorough Pre-Purchase Inspections when people are considering a preowned vehicle. Whether buying from a new or used car dealer or a private individual we check everything for Pa State Inspection plus every knob, switch and button on the car. We inspect fluids for particles, color, smell and contamination. Tires, brakes, belts. hoses. shocks, struts and suspension, along with approximately 80 other items that we inspect. We have seen cars that will make great vehicles to drive for many tens of thousands of miles to cars and trucks that should have been taken off the road a few years before. But every vehicle gets the same attention to detail so you can be sure of getting a solid reliable purchase. Just give us a call if you are thinking about adding to your fleet. Thanks again for a great question!

Does your shop employ A.S.E. certified techs?

Nicholas “fudgeman234” Schade | Nov 3, 2019

Nicholas, thank you for your question. In fact we do have ASE Certified Technicians of which two have their L1 Master Technician Certification. That shows their proficiency in most everything on a car or light truck from brakes, air conditioning, transmissions, electrical systems, engine repair and everything in between. Continuing education is extremely important in this industry to keep up with constantly changing technology. My personal feeling is, once you fall behind that technology learning curve...you'll never catch up. That's why many older mechanics only work on older cars. They just don't have the education or equipment to work on many newer vehicles. Again, thanks for your question!

Why should I have my brake fluid flushed?

Erin Zinsmeister | Nov 3, 2019
Joel Rybacki | Nov 3, 2019

If Autocamp has suggested the fluid be flushed most likely it is either very dirty which will accelerate caliper and pump wear, or the brake peddle feels spongy indicating water intrusion/absorption. Flushing replaces all fluid with fresh. Bleeding removes air trapped in the calipers.
