Charged me taxes on the truck my brother gifted and after bringing/giving to them all the paperwork they requested proving that it was a π gift, they said that I need to write/send a letter to receive my money which they stole (illegally) and after doing what was told, still did not receive the money they stole from me. The licensing dept. is a Den of Thieves.

Big Kudos to Rhiannon, on a really busy day I came in with wrong paperwork. She took the time to copy the documents, ask her manager some special circumstance questions and call me the next business day to let me know how to proceed. FYI- There were a lot of irritated people that were waiting a long time while I was there. Pro Tip go to website and make an appointment. Don't just show up. It is always extremely busy and you will wait. Not the business fault. Anyway Kudos Rhiannon!!!!

SugestiΓ³n order on line if you can its faster. I make the mistake of going without doing it on line because, I figure since I was in the area it should take me long, wrong if you getting your tabs order them on line. They're short handed to the point that the owner comes in and work a regular shift.

Sadly these reviews are accurate. I visited the Federal Way Licensing Services office to register my Japanese imported vehicle. I had previously visited the King County Records and Licensing Services in Seattle and the customer service representative was kind and very helpful. She verified my title paperwork and stated I needed to come back with a stamped customs form. She even gave me directions and information to locate the facility. I obtained the appropriate paperwork but then went to this Federal Way facility. The customer service representative at this location did not seem to know the appropriate procedure for registering an import vehicle. She told me to go to a college and have them translate an "Export certificate." She did not provide a form number or any format for this certificate. She would not allow me to have a copy of the sample form. This form is not mentioned on the WA licensing website. Also, the vehicle is already in WA and has been cleared by customs. I am not trying to export the vehicle so any form that needs to be created in the US should be an import form, if anything. She did not accept my DoD documents. I understand that the import process may have been new to her but her demeanor was short and rude. I was very dissatisfied with my service at this facility and I hope they are able to improve their services next time someone needs their assistance. If you need to register an imported vehicle go to King County Records and Licensing Services.

1995 - thru 2008 yes, however, come January 2020, this is last year for all vehicles
Just go to the Washington State Dept. Of Licensing. If in Federal Way go to 1617 S. 324th St. or fortress.wa.gov. Good luck.
Ye, I recommend you g online, choose pickup and pickup same day, otherwise you can come any time M-F 9-5 and wait in line.
No If you own the vehicle you will need a physical title. If you just bought the vehicle from private party you need the title. If you are making payments and moving from another state and have the copy showing lienholder this would work, for that purpose.
They are open by appointment only. Last I checked there were a couple weeks out and actually I have an appointment for I believe the 27th that I'm going to cancel because I got my license online let me check into that maybe I can time it so you can have the appointment.
Cash, credit or debit. But there is a small fee for cards
No. I saw that too. Their real hours are 830am to 5pm Mon to Fri.
What's a State OD?

The person who sit with you during your driving test will let you know if you pass or fail. Most of the times, the result will be stated on your driving test sheet. If you pass your driving test, bring your driving test sheet to a nearest DOL. They will issue a temporary driver license for you after you pay a fee. The official one will be mailed to you shortly a few weeks later.
Not at this time, but best time is first thing in the morning.
If you are currently the owner of record, to replace is $35.00-$85.00; or depending on your needs as little as $15.00; however, if you are the buyer the price depends on many factors such as the purchase price, your primary address location, etc.
Si, Monday - Friday
Go online with your login account or go in any drivers license office to do the address change.
