I’ve been going to Scissors for nearly 6 years — and I have my then 8-year-old son to thank for attempting whatever look he was going for with a razor in the shower. My wife took him for an emergency haircut at the only barber she could find open on a Monday. It was our good fortune that this was Jenny and the shop she runs with William, Scissors in Bryn Mawr. Since then, they have moved from their tiny shop near Bryn Mawr Hospital to a large, comfortable space just off Lancaster Avenue. Jenny always gives me a great haircut and has such a phenomenal memory that asking for “the usual” always results in a quick, great-looking cut. Jenny and her team are friendly and efficient. Waiting time varies so best to book an appointment.
