Gave a check for $3,100 to Frank "Jamie" Thomas, who claimed to be a former contractor from Connecticut and recently moved to Florida, to have Hurricane Impact windows installed in my townhouse. I gave 'Jamie' the check on 5/28/2020 and it was cashed into his account on 5/29/2020. It wasn't until 12 days later that Mr. Thomas gave $2,500 as a down payment to Tyler Orr on 6/8/2020 to supposedly order the windows from PGT windows in Tampa Fl. Despite several requests to Mr. Thomas to provide a bill of sale for these windows 'contractor' Thomas never did promting me on 6/16/2020 to go to Orr Woodworks to ask proprietor Tyler Orr if and when the windows were ordered. Mr. Orr refused to give me information whether they were or were not. After much haggling he finally gave me a hardcopy bill of sale that stated the windows were ordered on aforementioned date 6/8/2020. I subsequently made a call to PGT windows in Tampa and two different employees told me there was no record of either Frank 'Jamie' Thomas or Tyler Orr having ever ordering the windows. Make of my story what you will but I would personally and for good reason stay clear of this business and the two men referred to in the above text. By the way, I'm still owed $1,000 by Mr.Thomas which at this point I have written off as the price paid for dealing with a less than honorable individual.

They seem like good people but quality of their cedar trim wood is not great. Too many pieces were very knotty, bowed, splintered, or damaged. I like the convenience of their location but can't afford all the scrap required to get usable pieces. I'll have to go down south to get my wood.
